What we do
Carexso Provide Comprehensive Services
Carexso provides comprehensive operational and administrative support services to clinical investigators at research sites, encompassing everything from feasibility assessments and start-up activities to patient recruitment and data collection. Additionally, we offer support for study initiation, monitoring, and closeout activities.
To facilitate clinical trials, we assign highly trained Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) to each research site, specifically dedicated to a particular protocol. This approach reduces the operational burden on investigators who are often consumed with routine clinical work.
With human resource shortages plaguing many institutions, our trained and experienced research coordinators offer a broad range of capabilities to execute each clinical trial with the utmost standards of quality and ethics. By partnering with Carexso, clinical investigators can focus on delivering exceptional patient care while we take care of the operational and administrative aspects of clinical trials, enabling them to run more efficiently and effectively.

Dr. Walid Abbas Zaher

Dr. Walid Zaher’s vision for CareXso transcends geographical borders, envisioning the Middle East and Africa (MEA) as integral players in the global clinical research network. His resolute commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity within the healthcare industry and his tireless pursuit of health innovation exemplify his transformative leadership. As he continues to shape the healthcare landscape, Dr. Zaher stands as a beacon of progress and a driving force in the quest for a healthier, more equitable world.
In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Dr. Zaher emerged as a transformative figure, directing pioneering research initiatives at SEHA and subsequently serving as Chief Research Officer at G42 Healthcare and CEO at IROS. Amid the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, he demonstrated unwavering resilience by establishing the UAE’s inaugural Contract Research Organization, building upon the resounding success of the 4Humanity Clinical Trial.
Before his UAE sojourn, Dr. Zaher held prestigious positions, including Director of the College of Medicine Research Centers and an assistant professorship in regenerative medicine and stem cells at King Saud University in Riyadh. His expertise extended to consulting on the Saudi 2020 National Biotechnology and Infectious Disease plan at KASCT.
Fuelled by an unrelenting desire to expand the horizons of medical knowledge, Dr. Zaher embarked on an academic odyssey, earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in Saudi Arabia. His yearning for innovation led him to pursue further education, culminating in a Master’s in Medical Education, Anatomy and Embryology, and Bioscience Technology. This foundation enabled him to transcend conventional boundaries, culminating in a Ph.D. in Regenerative Medicine from Denmark. His quest for excellence also led him to Harvard-MGH, Boston, where he acquired specialized training in laser-medicine application.
